About UCWBG

UCWBG is made up of graduates of the University of Chicago, primarily from what is now called the Booth School of Business, who share a passion for business, an interest in connecting with other talented women and men and a desire to grow and advance in their careers. We provide our members with the opportunities to network, enhance skills, engage in events and meaningful discussions, and build a relations with the University.

UCWBG was founded in 1980 by a group of 170 graduates and students of the Booth School of Business as an educational and networking organization.  Alumni roundtables, career conferences, websites, webinars, leadership circles, linking alums to nonprofit boards, women's conferences, mothers' groups, newsletters and emails. What do these all have in common? They are all UCWBG innovations.

The University of Chicago Women's Business Group ("UCWBG") is a nonprofit alumni association organized to address the professional, personal and career developmental needs of women and men throughout their entire career. We are committed to provide a strong network and enriching environment to foster the long-term growth of relationships between its members, friends, and other University of Chicago organizations.
